Our Story
Pure Food Labs was born from a real gap in the food industry. After more than a decade leading laboratories and overseeing microbiology operations nationwide, our team saw that Arizona—despite being a major food manufacturing hub—lacked fast, dependable microbial testing. Producers were forced to wait days for results, slowing production and increasing risk.
Recognizing the need for a modern, rapid, science-driven solution, we set out to build a laboratory that fixed what the industry was missing. That mission led to the creation of our Rapid Pathogen Risk Indicator (RPRI), inspired by our experience with molecular testing and the urgent need for same-day clarity in food safety decisions.




Our leadership combines over 60 years of scientific and industry expertise, with deep backgrounds in microbiology, molecular diagnostics, environmental testing, and large-scale laboratory management.
Members of our team have run regional divisions for national food-testing companies, led high-volume microbiology labs, and implemented validated methods used by global brands. This experience allowed us to design Pure Food Labs from the ground up with scientific rigor, ISO-aligned processes, and a commitment to accuracy and transparency.
